Career Technical Education (CTE) in PVUSD offers inspiring classes and learning pathways that accelerate students toward success in college and career.  CTE classes are offered across 10 PVUSD schools, combining academics with technical training, work-based experiences, and internship opportunities. More than 40 dedicated teachers in 25 career pathways are preparing over 3,600 students for their next steps toward success in college, career, leadership, and life.

Career Technical Education offers students focused educational pathways that combine academics with technical training, hands-on projects, and work-based learning experiences.

 

Through partnerships with professionals in business, industry, higher education, and community organizations, CTE programs maintain alignment with local employment needs.

 

As CTE students learn and explore careers, they develop vital workplace skills such as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration, preparing them for success in their chosen careers and in life
